Close Ups

I wanted to share some up-close shots of a recent work inspired by flesh and the human form. The organic shapes and warm colours look so good up-close!

The painting was largely inspired by the idea of using intuition to create the shapes and colours of the self-portrait. This was a challenge, as I usually love to work with a plan in mind; however, I'm very pleased with the results of the organic shapes.
